Update: Photo of car that caused panic in Abuja today + no bomb found

An unattended Peugeot 406 parked in the middle of the road in Nyanya, Abuja caused panic in the area this morning. Thankfully no bomb was detected in the parked car and normalcy has return to the area. (pictured above).

Below is the early morning situation on ground:

Pandemonium broke out this morning in the Nyanya area of Abuja, after a Peugeot 406 car suspected to be laden with explosives was found parked in the middle of the road, causing motorist & passersby to run in different directions fearing that the car might explode

“The driver just parked the car and left in a hurry prompting soldiers nearby to be suspicious and people in traffic on seeing the soldiers surrounding the car began to run in different directions” A commercial motorcyclist told Premium Times

Soldiers are currently carrying out a thorough search of the car
