Birmingham City have appointed Harry Redknapp as their new manager following the resignation of Gianfranco Zola.
The 70-year-old former Tottenham boss will work for free until the end of the season at which point the club will review their progress and potentially open up discussions over a permanent deal, according to the Daily Mail.
Zola stepped down on Monday after a 2-0 defeat by relegation rivals Burton Albion. He was in charge of the Blues for just four months.
Birmingham are now just three points above the Championship relegation places with three games remaining in the season, including a daunting trip to bitter rivals Aston Villa on Sunday.
