Manchester City have no desire to sell Sergio Aguero to Chelsea.
The Stamford Bridge club believe the Argentine could be open to leaving City as Gabriel Jesus establishes himself as their main striker though a deal remains unlikely.
Publicly, Aguero and his agent have maintained they have a good relationship with Pep Guardiola and the 29-year-old was on City’s flight to the USA on Monday.
Guardiola and City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarek maintain they do not want to sell the crowd favourite.
Indeed when asked about Aguero’s future earlier in the summer, Al Mubarak said: ”I’ve read a lot of the speculation on this and it’s ridiculous. Sergio Aguero is one of the best players in the world. We are a team that aspires to win every competition we compete in. Having Sergio Aguero as part of the squad is an absolute must. It has never been in doubt.”
