Buhari, Sheriff Meet In State House President Muhammadu Buhari and Ali Modu Sheriff, a former governor of Borno State, met behind closed doors on Thursday afternoon (May 17) at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The meeting was held inside the President’s office and lasted about an hour.

Sheriff, a former caretaker committee chairman of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) refused to speak to Journalists after the meeting with Buhari who were waiting to know his mission to the villa.

Yesterday was the first time Sheriff would be meeting with the President since he was ousted as PDP caretaker committee chairman.
