Why my nomination form was bought for me – El-Rufai

The Governor of Kaduna state Nasir El-Rufai on Monday said he does not have up to N20 million in his account to buy his second term expression of interest and nomination forms of his party, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

El-Rufai made this known at the government house while receiving the forms from some groups who bought them on his behalf.

The groups include, Representatives of the Association of Cattle Sellers, Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), National Association of Road Transport Owners (NATO), Sheikh Gumi Market Association, among others.

The forms cost N22.5 million

‘I don’t have N20 million also to buy my form. The money I have in the bank is not close to that amount. I have only one account in GT . Except I sell my house will I be able to raise that amount,” El-Rufai said
